Mission Statement

Your connection with UCLA Rowing doesn’t end with graduation!

The Ballona Bandits formed as an outlets for our young (at heart) alumni to stay connected with each other and with the team.

We achieve this by:

• Staying fit together
  We log our workouts on Strava as a club.

• Racing together
  We hope to regularly race competitive alumni boats at Head of the Charles and San Diego Crew Classic.

• Supporting the team together
  We hope to have a strong alumni precense at every major regatta that UCLA competes in, and why not have some fun while we do it!

• Representing the team together
  We have had the opportunity to represent UCLA Men’s Rowing in free trips to China or paid opportunities to be background actors on film and television.

how to join

There is an effort to have an alumni boat compete at Head of the Charles in the Fall, and San Diego Crew Classic in the Spring. Email FOUR’s Secretary for more information on how to compete.
